The Advanced Reactors Summit IX & Technology Trailblazers Showcase

Now in its ninth year, after successive ground-breaking Summits at Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Texas A&M University, the University of California San Diego, the University of Tennessee, and a Virtual Summit the Advanced Reactors Summit IX will once again meet in-person to bring leading industry experts, top executives, policymakers, and thought leaders within the nuclear industry together.

The AR Summit IX will continue its focus on showcasing technology developers and advancing solutions on the cost and deployment timeframe of advanced reactors, as well as practical ideas and concepts that have the potential of significantly improving advanced reactor design, deployment, and operations.

The Canadian Nuclear Association’s Annual Conference, CNA 2020, is scheduled to take place in Ottawa from February 26 to 28, 2020. The theme of this year’s conference is Nuclear Now: Achieving Our Clean Energy Future.

Cleantech Forum San Francisco

At this year’s Cleantech Forum San Francisco, Terrestrial Energy is co-hosting the panel discussion, Time to be Inclusive and Pragmatic Before It’s Too Late: Advanced nuclear technologies must be a significant part of the solution set. The discussion takes place January 28 from 2:45 – 3:45 PM.

International Conference on Climate Change and the Role of Nuclear Power

Terrestrial Energy is exhibiting at the International Conference on Climate Change and the Role of Nuclear Power, taking place October 7-11 in Vienna, Austria.

This conference is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA).

“Climate change is one of the most important issues the world is facing today. Nuclear power can make a significant contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, while at the same time fulfilling the increasing energy demands of a growing world population and supporting global sustainable development,” said the IAEA on its website.
