Terrestrial Energy CEO Simon Irish will be a speaker at a seminar in conjunction with PDAC 2019, the world’s premier exploration and mining convention, in Toronto on March 4.
The seminar titled “Nuclear Power for Mining Operations: The Future Role of SMRs,” hosted by Gowling WLG, will feature presentations on the Canadian government’s SMR Roadmap from Natural Resources Canada and the Mining Association in Canada, and a discussion of the role advanced reactor technologies like Terrestrial Energy’s IMSR can play in the industrial sector.
PDAC is the leading convention for people, companies and organizations in, or connected with, mineral exploration. 25,600 attendees from 135 countries, 3,500 investors and 1,000 exhibitors are expected at the four-day annual convention, which includes technical sessions, short courses and networking events.
