GREENWICH, CT and BETHESDA, MD – October 13, 2020 – Terrestrial Energy USA and Centrus Energy Corp. have signed a memorandum of understanding to secure fuel supply for a future fleet of Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®) power plants.
OAKVILLE, ON – October 6, 2020 – The Terrestrial Energy Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®) has been selected by Ontario Power Generation for further evaluation under the electric utility’s program to deploy small modular reactor (SMR) power plants.
Terrestrial Energy and L3Harris Technologies to Develop IMSR Generation IV Nuclear Power Plant Simulator
OAKVILLE AND MONTREAL – September 30, 2020 – Terrestrial Energy has awarded L3Harris Technologies a contract to develop an engineering and operator training simulator for the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®), a Generation IV nuclear power plant.
The IMSR® power plant simulator is being built at L3Harris’ operation in Montreal, Quebec and will be delivered to Terrestrial Energy’s Oakville, Ontario facility in 2021.
